His first big win in 2004 saw him take home a cool $1.4 million as well as a World Poker Tour title at the LA Poker Classic. But it was in 2012 when his poker career really took off. After beating 47 players during the $1,000,000 buy-in live event, Big One for One Drop, he earned $18,346,673 in a single night. This was, at the time, the biggest cash prize in the history of the game.

Patrik Antonius
 
Patrik Antonius is a former tennis player and poker superstar from Finland. Known for his calm and collected demeanour and sharp gameplay, he is considered to be one of the greatest poker players still on the circuit today. His career has wowed spectators in-person as well as online during a number of live poker tournaments, such as the much heralded GGPoker Online Poker Tournament. His first breakthrough came in 2005 when he finished in third place in the European Poker Tour Barcelona Main Event and took home $145,000. His largest win to date, however, occurred in 2009 when he won the largest pot in online poker history against Swedish professional player Viktor Blom and walked away with $1,356,946.
 
Justin Bonomo
 
Justin Bonomo is a high-stakes professional poker player and was one of the youngest players to be featured in a televised final table match at only 19 years old. At the World Series of Poker, he has made 19 final tables, won three bracelets, and one circuit ring and made over $14 million in winnings. At the 2018 World Series of Poker, he achieved one of the largest poker wins of all time when he defeated Fedor Holz in the $1,000,000 One Drop event for a staggering $10,000,000. This is still regarded as one of the most impressive wins in the history of the World Series of Poker tournament and the game of poker in general.
 
Dan Colman
 
Dan Colman is an American professional poker player famous for winning the $1,000,000 buy-in Big One for One Drop at the 2014 World Series of Poker event. After an impressive run, he ended up taking home a first-place cash prize of $15,306,668. This remains the second-largest pay-out in poker tournament history. At the age of 24, he had already won over $21 million during a series of live poker tournaments in the space of a few months. He brought a fresh approach to the game and set the bar for anyone brave enough to follow in his footsteps.
